Did you know that August 27th is Just Because Day? It’s a day that’s very much in the spirit of Every Day Bouquet, so we’re more than happy to celebrate this scheduled day of spontaneity. Just Because Day is the perfect occasion to show your friends and family that you love them and to spread some random acts of kindness. And is there a better way to do that than with flower bouquets? We can’t think of one.

Do something you’ve never done before.
Spontaneity is the name of the game with it comes to Just Because Day. If there’s something you and a friend or loved one have always talked about doing but never done, this is the day to do it! It can be something big, like taking a road trip, or small, like trying a restaurant you’ve never been to. The point is to mix it up and do something unplanned and unexpected.
Fill the day with your favorite things.
If you’re not really an adventurous person, that doesn’t mean you have to sit this day out. Fill the day with your favorite things, and enjoy the freedom of doing whatever you like for a whole day. Go to your favorite restaurant, take your favorite hike, or watch your favorite movie. As long as you don’t plan too far ahead, there are no wrong choices when you do things “just because”!
Spread joy and kindness around.
As fun as it is to treat yourself, Just Because Day is also about spreading joy and kindness to those around you. If there are people in your family or community who could use a little boost, send them some flowers and a card to let them know someone is thinking about them. Has it been a while since you talked to your grandma? This is the perfect day to give her a call.
